Memphis Grizzlies — Tyus Jones

24-year-old Tyes Jones may not be too much of an upgrade over current backup Ky Bowman, but nonetheless, he’s been in the league for five years and increased his scoring in each of the last four.

Jones, who played his collegiate days at Duke, neared double figures last year. He averaged 7.4 points per game, and while that’s not overly impressive, Jones did shoot 45.9 percent from the field. He also shot 37.9 percent from three-point land.

Jones is a young guard that will likely always be a very quality backup. He played under 20 minutes per game during his fifth season, helping those averages creep up quite a bit when looking at per 36 minutes numbers.

A cheap addition, the Warriors have the 2020 second-round picks it’d take to bring in Jones. It really shouldn’t cost too much, but with a plethora of players on the market for around his cost, it may not be worth the low price tag.
