New Orleans Pelicans — J.J. Redick

The Philadelphia 76ers made a mistake by letting J.J. Redick go.

Signing with the Pelicans last offseason, the sniper has one more year left on his contract. As with many of these trade targets, Redick would fit under the team’s trade exception if they wanted to use it.

Redick, as he’s aged, has somehow gotten even better.

He averaged 15.3 points per game this past season. While that wasn’t his career-high, he didn’t quite get many minutes as he did in Philly which actually made his per 36 minutes average of 20.9 points his career-high.

He averaged three triples per game for his second consecutive season. That type of shooting is among the best in the league, and with the two splash brothers, they’d be nearly unstoppable offensively.

It’d be worth at least seeing what they’d trade him for.
