Phoenix Suns — Kelly Oubre Jr.

One trade target that actually has been a rumored target is Kelly Oubre Jr. The young forward has continued to improve his game, averaging a career-high 18.7 points per game in his first full season with Phoenix.

Oubre Jr. was originally drafted 15th overall by the Hawks then was traded to the Wizards. He played a few seasons in Washington then was deal to Phoenix where he’s exploded onto the scene.

His numbers across the board were the highest of his career. His scoring is important, but for Golden State, they’d also love his shooting, averaging 1.9 threes per game on over 35 percent from deep.

Oubre Jr. fits within the team’s $17.2 million trade exception. It may cost the Warriors quite a bit, but if the two teams swap first-round picks and the Suns include Oubre Jr., this could be a deal they work out fairly easily.
