Chicago Bulls — Lauri Markkanen

The Chicago Bulls are a young team on the rise. They have stars like Coby White and Wendell Carter Jr., but there’s no telling if they got the one player that’ll help restore them to competitiveness in the East.

Markkanen isn’t that player, but he certainly is a power forward and potential stretch five that could drastically improve the Warriors small-ball lineup. His value would be rather unknown, but he is coming off a down year.

Last season, the 23-year-old former top-ten pick averaged 14.7 points per game, down from 18.7. While his numbers were down, Markkanen still showed that he is a terrific three-point shooter, averaging over two threes per game for the third time in his career.

Ever since he entered the league, Markkanen has worked to be the face of the Bulls franchise. In Golden State, that wouldn’t be the expectation. But, for a talent like his, the No. 2 may not be enough as this draft doesn’t have the high-power stardom.

If it’s is, it’s something the team must consider.
