The Warriors get two great players and a good pick

In this trade scenario, the Warriors win big in my opinion. Golden state trades back in a draft that they probably didn’t like that much anyway while also gaining two great players.

With their now 15th pick, there are several players they could draft who would fit perfectly.  If available, here are a few players who make a ton of sense.

Precious Achiuwa would be a great pickup at the 15th player, who is projected to still be available at that time.

Precious is a freshman 6-foot-9 power forward out of Memphis University with crazy athleticism. He has kind of been overlooked in this draft because he was James Wiseman’s teammate and eventual replacement when Wiseman left campus.

Achiuwa has the ability to guard several positions and protect the rim at a high level with two blocks a game in college, not to mention his ten rebounds a game last season, which makes him even more valuable.

Another great player that fits the Warriors mold is Aaron Nesmith.

He is one of the best shooters in this draft out of Vanderbilt. Nesmith is a player who can shoot from anywhere and has great defensive upside. At 6-foot-6 Nesmith shot 52 percent from three on eight attempts a game, granted it was just in 14 games.

Aaron Gordon would be an amazing addition to the team, especially with his versatility. With Draymond Green at the starting power forward position, Gordon can start at the small forward or come off the bench and play in the frontcourt.

Gordon averaged 14 points a game last season, along with seven rebounds a game. He can also stretch the floor and help with floor spacing for two of the best shooters in the league.

Terrence Ross is a player who can immediately help this team improve from last year. The Golden State Warriors were one of the worst bench scoring teams in the league last season. While Ross averaged 14 points, on 35 percent shooting from three with seven attempts a game.

He did that in 69 games last season, all of them off of the bench. Terrence has the ability to run off of screens, and be a deadly player when he gets hot.

There will be Golden State Warriors fans who don’t like this trade, but I feel it would be a great deal for both sides.
