The Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers, two teams that used to be former enemies, may strike a deal this offseason.

There have been rumblings that the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers may be talking about a potential deal that would send Kevin Love to the Bay Area. If you had said that a few years ago, it would’ve been absolutely crazy.

Love is a power forward that was once upon a time dealt for Andrew Wiggins, a current Warrior. There’s no denying in any possible trade the Warriors may have to repeat a similar deal as Wiggins is making too much to not be in the conversation.

The Cavaliers are a team on the rise. With Collin Sexton and Darius Garland, they have no need for the longest-tenured player of the team’s original Big 3. LeBron James headed to Cleveland and Kyrie Irving is now in Brooklyn.

It’s Love time to go get himself another ring, and in Golden State, he could do that. It would make sense for Golden State as well. Love is the perfect stretch four for the Warriors system as he can easily spread the floor and rebound.

That said, we’ll get into more of his fit as we dive into the three best trades the Warriors could propose for Kevin Love.
