The Golden State Warriors haven’t yet but very well could trade their No. 2 overall pick in the upcoming NBA Draft, an event scheduled for November 18.

There’s no denying the Golden State Warriors have good reason to trade their second-overall pick. The Dubs struggled all last season as Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson combined for just five games.

The result of their 15-50 record was a top pick in the November 18 NBA Draft. Not a typical lottery team, the Warriors have all they need to compete, but they’ll no longer be considered the preseason favorites to take home the league’s most coveted trophy.

The Warriors could use a few others to improve their roster enough to challenge both teams in Los Angeles. It’ll be a question for management who they bring in, and, at the end of the day, they could just add a player in the draft that has sky-high upside and could contribute immediately.

However, at the same time, that pick has value as it could result in Anthony Edwards, LaMelo Ball, James Wiseman or a number of other talented players.

That said, let’s dive into six trades the Golden State Warriors, in order to be among the best teams in the league, could make on draft night.
