C. Memphis. 2. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. James Wiseman. player. 41

The formula for success as a rim-runner with the Golden State Warriors is so easy, even JaVale McGee could do it.

Jokes aside, the Warriors have an open spot for a big man that can rebound and finish shots around the rim. Any center with height and athleticism can fill in this role and be successful. But, James Wiseman could exceed all expectations and have a real impact on both ends of the floor.

Wiseman is a special athlete. Standing at 7-foot and possessing elite athleticism, Wiseman can become a transition threat for the Warriors right away. Not to mention, his size and leaping ability will make him a prolific shot blocker.

At the worst, Wiseman will be similar to McGee. At his best, Wiseman can revolutionize the Warriors’ playstyle and become the enforcer in the paint that they have been lacking throughout their dynasty.
