1. Versatile scorer

The Golden State Warriors are going to need a reliable scorer next to Stephen Curry next season. With Klay Thompson out, Andrew Wiggins is the next best option. But, Kelly Oubre Jr. can produce as well.

Oubre posted a career-high 18.7 points last season with the Phoenix Suns. Compare this to Wiggins, who scored just three more points on less efficient shooting – and there’s an argument to be made that Oubre is the second-best scorer on the roster.

That is because Oubre is great at playing to his strengths. He’s going to attack the rim at a high rate and get to the free-throw line at a high-rate. He’s also going to spot up and drill catch-and-shoot 3-pointers at a 34.9 percent clip (among the league-best for forwards).

Oubre’s ability to slash and space the floor is going to make him a key contributor to the Warriors moving forward into the future. Expect to see him put up consistent numbers next to Wiggins and Curry.
