7. Jeff Green

Countless title-contending teams have picked up Jeff Green in recent years. This veteran could find himself in Golden State next.

Pros

We know exactly what Green brings to the table at this point. He is going to score at all three levels with athleticism and streaky 3-point shooting. Green can easily put up 10+ points per game if given a big enough role and will do it at an efficient enough rate to justify keeping him in the rotation.

Cons

There are concerns about consistency for Green. Last season in Houston, Green averaged 17.3 points on near 60 percent shooting in the first four games of the playoffs. After that? Green’s numbers fell to 8.8 points on 43.9 percent shooting, including a game where he shot 3-for-11 from the field.

While he can score in bunches – his value dips significantly if his shot isn’t falling. He isn’t a great defender and he isn’t much of a playmaker. As a result, Green would mostly be used for a scoring boost off the bench. This is a good thing to have, but not everything the Warriors are looking for.
