5. Stanley Johnson

The need for perimeter defenders has never been higher for Golden State. Stanley Johnson could be the help they need.

Pros

With his physical build, Johnson would instantly become one of the Dubs best perimeter defenders. This is important, as Klay Thompson is nurturing another injury and Andre Iguodala is gone for good – leaving the Warriors vulnerable on this side of the floor.

Johnson has consistently been a solid defender and had a phenomenal Defensive Rating of 96.7 for the Toronto Raptors last season.

Cons

The main problem with Johnson is his shooting. Johnson shot below 30 percent from deep last season and has never hit more than 70 3-pointers in a single season. This would limit the Warriors greatly on offense as they are already hurting for additional shooters next to Thompson and Stephen Curry.
