2. Jae Crowder

The Golden State Warriors need a two-way player that can replace Andre Iguodala. While Jae Crowder is definitely a downgrade, he might be the best available replacement.

Pros

Crowder has made a name for himself by being a 3-and-D threat for years now. His presence in Miami helped stretch the floor and solidify them as one of the most versatile defenses in the league. He can do the same in Golden State with his ability to play small-ball four and switch everything defensively.

In Miami’s upset of Milwaukee, Crowder averaged 15.2 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game on 43.1 percent 3-point shooting. This is more than the Warriors would need from a role player in a potential NBA Finals run.

Cons

Like many other players on this list, Crowder does have a streak of inconsistency. It’s not uncommon for his jump shot to miraculously disappear him as he becomes a non-threat from anywhere on the 3-point line.

The Warriors would have to accept the risk of Crowder going cold at important times – but hopefully, his skills as a defender will keep him on the floor regardless.
