1. Danilo Gallinari

There’s really no question about it, signing Danilo Gallinari with the MLE would be a home run deal for the Golden State Warriors.

Pros

Though he doesn’t get much attention, Gallinari is an elite scorer from all areas of the floor. He shot a blazing hot 41.8 percent on catch-and-shoot 3-pointers (4th best in the league on at least 340 attempts) and 35.3 percent on pull-up shots – making him one of the best pull-up shooters in the NBA.

Gallinari can fill in on the bench or at the four and be a versatile scorer that can provide a spark for the Warriors at any time. Not to mention, he is a willing passer and skilled playmaker.

Cons

I guess the biggest con to Gallinari is his defense – but he isn’t a detriment on this end of the floor. At the best, he can serve as a reliable team defender. He won’t be Andre Iguodala 2.0 – but he can add a new layer to the Warriors offense that makes him by far the best candidate for the MLE.
