The Golden State Warriors have some gaps to fill in their rotation – luckily there are some quality wings still available in free agency.

It’s free agency time! Team’s across the league are scrambling to use any cap space available to make the move that could push them over the top. For the Golden State Warriors, this is an important time to round out their lineup.

While they’ve been quiet thus far, the Dubs will likely get active soon as they have a few valuable tools at their disposal. Their $6 million dollar mid-level exception and a $9 million dollar opening from Klay Thompson’s injury opens the path for the Warriors to sign some additional players.

The rest of the NBA has been working to improve. The Portland Trail Blazers have signed multiple wing players to add depth while the Los Angeles Lakers added the reigning Sixth Man of the Year to their title squad.

Golden State is just barely on the outside looking in at the rest of the league’s contenders. The additions of Kelly Oubre Jr. and James Wiseman will help a lot – but one more push in free agency could help give this team the depth it needs to compete.

Let’s look at some quality players the Dubs can still add to the roster. For clarity, we will only be looking at wing players in this article – we already covered a few guards in this other piece.
