2. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson
There may never be a full-time replacement for the lockdown perimeter defense that Andre Iguodala used to provide the Golden State Warriors. But, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson could be a worthy adversary.
Pros
His frame makes him a physical defender. Jefferson isn’t afraid to impose himself on opponents with his muscular arms and insane 7’2″ wingspan. He would easily become the Warriors’ best perimeter defender from day one – something they need with Thompson out for the season.
Jefferson is also a great rebounder for his position. He snagged close to 5.0 a game last year and will relentlessly pursue extra possessions for his team.
Cons
Jefferson might never be a reliable shooter. He only made 3 total 3-pointers last year on an awful 13 percent shooting clip. This will hurt the Warriors in a major way as they can’t afford to lose any more spacing with Thompson gone.
