Stanley Johnson
A high-ceiling, low-profile addition the Warriors should look into bringing in is Stanley Johnson. Once a lottery pick, Johnson has everything that a team would want, one reason he was selected so high.
Johnson played in 25 games with the Raptors last season. He’s played several seasons with the Pistons and then half a season with the Pelicans as well. Johnson has not been the player that many thought he could be.
At 24, there’s still time. While he did average just 2.4 points per game last season, Johnson’s upside is still there. With the right development, much like Glenn Robinson III and Alec Burks, Johnson could thrive.
With one season of shooting over 30 percent from deep, Johnson’s yet to prove himself, but the positive surrounding that is that he should have a cheap price tag to his name.
Johnson’s production just hasn’t been there, and the Warriors would be banking on him being able to turn that around.
