Marc Gasol

For many of the same reasons the Golden State Warriors will target Nerlens Noel, they should also be looking to acquire Marc Gasol.

Gasol is everything you want from a veteran big man. He has battled in many playoff series and experienced it all. He has tasted the bitter feeling of defeat and risen above expectations to win a championship in Toronto.

The Warriors can count on Gasol to play under heavy pressure. This is something they might not be able to rely on James Wiseman for as there’s no telling how the rookie will handle a heated playoff series.

In addition to his experience, Gasol is a skilled player. He can pass the ball, rebound and defend at a good enough level to be a key rotational player for any contender next season. The Warriors should definitely be looking to add him to the squad.
