The Golden State Warriors have made a few moves during free agency, but they could’ve added far more talent if they targeted these three players.

With a few days of free agency under their belt, the Golden State Warriors have, without a doubt, made enhancements to their roster.

With a plethora of options at shooting guard and power forward, the Warriors needed a backup point guard and more depth both at small forward and center. Klay Thompson’s injury also put an unexpected twist on the offseason.

Although they said earlier in the offseason that targeting a backup point guard was going to be a priority, the Warriors waiving Ky Bowman still shocked many. They then went and added Brad Wanamaker, and we’ll see if he fills the void for the team behind Curry.

Despite that need, the Warriors passed on LaMelo Ball and opted for James Wiseman with their second-overall pick, giving them much-needed size. He’ll help a frontcourt that could still use additional shooting.

Overall, center and point guard were the two main needs, especially following the signing of Kent Bazemore, a forward that used to play in Golden State back in the day. That said, let’s dive into some players that, for their respective contracts, the Warriors should’ve targeted.
