Dwight Howard

While Dwight Howard’s tweet implied that he was going to be back in Los Angles, the former eight-time All-Star is packing his bags and taking his talents to Philadelphia after winning a title with the Lakers.

The No. 1 overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft, Howard has led the league in rebounds five times and led the league in blocks twice.

Standing at 6-foot-10, Howard averaged 7.5 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. Those numbers may not be over-the-top outstanding, but it’s important to remember that on the Lakers roster Howard played in under two quarters per game.

Howard signed a one-year deal that was a minimum-value worth. With the Warriors, he could’ve at least been given a better chance at a title and not had to play behind one of the best centers in the NBA.

Size, athleticism, and experience are all things the Warriors frontcourt could’ve used.
