Dario Saric — RFA
The Golden State Warriors, despite drafting center James Wiseman, could still use a few skills in their frontcourt.
The most important would be a bit of shooting. Marquese Chriss, Kevon Looney, Wiseman and basically every other big the Warriors have isn’t a great shooter. That doesn’t bode well for them in small-ball lineups. Who is at the five?
If it’s Draymond Green, they lack size, and it’s not really the traditional small-ball lineup if it’s a player like Chriss or Wiseman. That’s where Dario Saric would come into play. While he’s not a great rebounder for his size, he does have a nice touch from deep.
The 6-foot-10 26-year-old Saric averaged 10.7 points per game last season and 1.3 triples per game. Shooting around 36 percent from deep on his four-year career, Saric is a quintessential small-ball five.
Now, with that restricted tag still stuck to his name, the Suns could easily retain the big man, but it’s tough to gauge their value on him as he’s likely yet to receive many offers.
