Langston Galloway

The 6-foot-1, 28-year-old guard emerged as a late bloomer. He initially broke out with the Knicks, and while he may not be worthy of the mid-level exception, there aren’t many players left on the market that have team-changing talent.

That said, Galloway would be a better scoring backup point guard than Wanamaker. He averaged over ten points per game during his rookie season with the Knicks. His scoring dipped under that until this past season.

Galloway played well for the Pistons and is deserving of a deal above the minimum.

He averaged 10.3 points and 2.0 threes per game, barely shooting under 40 percent from deep. Galloway is a solid shooting option for the Warriors, a team that just lost one of the best shooters in the NBA for next season.

The Warriors have enough shooting guards, so they’d have to view Galloway as. more of a backup point guard option, which would then make the signing of Wanamaker somewhat pointless as he’s slide into a low-usage third-string point guard role.
