Kent Bazemore

Grade: B

Back to where he started his NBA career, Kent Bazemore is a nice pickup for the Golden State Warriors.

Bazemore is going to act as a sixth-man and scorer with the bench. His ability to score on all three levels and heat up from deep makes him the exact type of player they need to provide a spark. It’s possible Bazemore swings the outcome of some games next season with his streaky scoring.

He is also a sound defender. Bazemore has good size and athleticism that allows him to hold his own on this side of the ball. He won’t replace Andre Iguodala’s production but he is a worthy presence on the perimeter.

We can expect Bazemore to play a crucial role in the team’s success. Much of what the Warriors accomplish next season will come down to how strong their supporting cast is, with Bazemore acting as one of their key role players.
