No, not Marc Jackson the coach. His name is spelled with a K. This Marc, with a C, was drafted by the Warriors in 1997, and played 65 games with them over the span of two seasons. The 6-foot-10 forward played for VCU in his freshman season of college, but would also transfer to a school in

Jackson was a valuable player for a Golden State team that included Antawn Jamison and Larry Hughes.

Jamison with nearly 25 points a game, and eight rebounds. Larry Hughes finished with 16 points, five rebounds, and four assists a game. Jackson was right behind those two as the third-best scorer on the team in 2000. He averaged 13 points and seven rebounds as the Warriors won two more games than they did in 2020.
