Eric Paschall, 41st pick (2019)

Eric Paschall may end up being higher on the list, but since he was only a rookie this past season, he is lower. Paschall was named to the “All-Rookie” first team at the end of the 2020 season and was one of the Warriors best players through stretches of the season.

No, that may not mean much considering how bad the team was, but he showed his potential for sure. The 6-foot-6 rookie played mostly as a power forward last season but may slide into more of a traditional wing role this upcoming season.

Even at power forward, Paschall was not out of position. At Villanova, he often played down low due to their lack of size, and he held his own with the big boys.

While playing in the post a bit, Paschall averaged 14 points and six rebounds but was also able to stretch his game out to the three and shoot 34 percent from downtown. Paschall was not ranked highly going into the draft due to his age.

He played his freshman season at Fordham and would transfer to Villanova where he would play three more seasons.

Paschall was the 14th Villanova player drafted to the Warriors in their draft history. His rookie year on the Warriors was special as he helped solidify himself as a key player on this team for years to come.
