The Golden State Warriors, after a hectic last few days, have quite a bit to grateful for as many prepare for a time to give Thanksgiving.

It’s been a rough few months for the Golden State Warriors.

Not even mentioning Covid-19, the team had to miss the 2020 NBA playoffs after having just a 15-win season. How’d they follow up one of their worst seasons in team history? Well, their superstar shooting guard Klay Thompson went down with a torn Achilles.

Thompson, who tore his ACL in Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals, missed the entire 2019-2020 season. Thankfully, the Warriors, given their struggles, were able to bring in James Wiseman, the No. 2 overall pick in the NBA Draft.

Things are trending upward for the long-term future with his presence in the Bay Area. The Warriors were also able to bring in Kelly Oubre Jr., a young player that could also be a staple for this franchise.

Despite 2020 being one of the worst years in most people’s lives, the Warriors fanbase should have at least a few things they can look back and be thankful for. That said, let’s look at a few of the things the Dubs can be grateful for this Thanksgiving.
