2. George Hill

Okay, we talked about how the Golden State Warriors can add a quick-twitch athlete like Elfird Payton to headline their bench mob – but a trustworthy veteran like George Hill could be a good idea as well.

Hill has played over 10 NBA seasons and been a member of countless playoff teams. He squared off with the Warriors in the 2018 NBA Finals and has experience as a starting guard on competitive squads.

The Warriors can trust Hill to run the show when Stephen Curry needs a rest. Furthermore, he is a talented enough player to close games with certain small-ball lineups the Dubs could experiment with throughout the season.

We know exactly what Hill brings to the table at this point in his career He is a low-volume, high-efficiency scorer that can create plays and defend the perimeter. What more could the Dubs ask for from a backup guard?
