The Golden State Warriors still have their mid-level exception to use, and there’s still a plethora of players available that would improve their roster.

There’s no denying Joe Lacob and company have spent to keep the Golden State Warriors competitive in year’s past. They’ve already done it this offseason as they used the team’s trade exception to bring in Kelly Oubre Jr.

They have veteran’s minimum salaries they could give players, but for a little extra, they could use their mid-level exception or disabled player exception. Now, it’d be really crazy if Lacob decides to go all out and use both.

The DPE is worth about $9.3 million while the MLE is around $5.3 million.

Both those exceptions bring in a different quality of player. With many of the top-tier players like Brandon Ingram already off the market, the Warriors may not get a player that makes far a much better contender, and if that’s the case, we may see them stay put with who they target.

That said, let’s dive into six targets that the team could add with the MLE that should enhance their roster enough to make it worth Lacob’s money.
