Rondae Hollis-Jefferson
A first-round pick coming out of Arizona back in 2015, Hollis-Jefferson’s career hasn’t gone as planned. He was initially drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers yet started his career with the Brooklyn Nets. He played for four years in Brooklyn.
While with the Nets, Hollis-Jefferson put up reasonable numbers.
He averaged 13.9 points per game during his third season in the league. Shooting over 47 percent that season, he was also efficient, yet both of those numbers would go on to drop drastically his last year with the Nets.
When he joined the Raptors, Hollis-Jefferson’s numbers again tanked, averaging only 7.0 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. His efficiency was back though, and given his athleticism, efficiency, and size, Hollis-Jefferson is a worthwhile risk.
He can’t shoot from deep which could pose a problem, but he’s got the upside to be a dominant force on the team’s second unit, something they could certainly use more of.
