Unleash Kelly Oubre Jr.

They could focus on bringing in other players to add to their roster, or they could just rock with who they have. That may be the more optimal goal for the Golden State Warriors and their dedicated front office.

They have those high-level, high-potential players on their roster. Oubre Jr. is one of them. He averaged 18.7 points per game last season, easily the most of his career. He improved in almost every area of the game.

He shot over 35 percent from deep which is a huge mark for the young forward. He also notched the best field goal percentage of his career. Oubre’s ascension has been no shock as he’s almost doubling his points per game.

Can he take that next level though? If the Warriors allow him over 16 shots per game, can he give them 23 points per game? That’s his next step, and unleashing that player, if he’s in there, could be a move that takes Golden State to the next level.

He’s athletic, can shoot, and can defend. That’s all you need, and we’ll see if he can capitalize on that talent this upcoming season.
