Shooting Guard: Andrew Wiggins
This position was going to originally be filled by Klay Thompson, but with Klay being forced to the sidelines for the second consecutive season with a torn Achilles, Wiggins, or techinally Kelly Oubre Jr., will get the nod at shooting guard.
Wiggins had a solid twelve-game run the Warriors in 2019-2020 after he was dealt to the team from Minnesota. He’ll be expected to have a huge impact on this Warriors roster that will need his high-level scoring.
Wiggins averaged 19.4 points per game, 3.6 assists per game, and 4.6 rebounds per game while shooting 51 percent from the floor, 67 percent from the free-throw line, and 34 percent from beyond the arc.
The former No. 1 overall pick will have a chance to start fresh with Golden State. Wiggins is a physical player and the Warriors will get to see him in uniform for a full season this year.
