Predicting the Golden State Warriors starters for opening night

Center: James Wiseman

James Wiseman was drafted by the Golden State Warriors No. 2 overall in the 2020 NBA Draft and will be a starter from the get-go, or at least fans should hope so. Wiseman was drafted to be the team’s star rim protector and a rookie to build around.

That is exactly what he is destined to be.

Having an incredible guard and center duo like Wiseman and Steph Curry is going to be lethal for any competitors that are tasked with squaring off against Golden State.

Wiseman didn’t play much in college, three games to be exact, but his talent is unquestionable. Wiseman’s 7-foot-1 stature will be beneficial for the Warriors as they look to add more size and speed to their defensive positions.
