Jordan Poole

The second-year guard out of Michigan was red hot to end the 2019-2020 season. The Warriors, who didn’t make the playoffs and actually had the worst record in the NBA, has their season end in March.

However, prior to that ending, fans were able to get a glimpse of Jordan Poole and all that he’s capable of. After a tough start to the season for the rookie, Poole ended the season by scoring double figures in 12 of his last 13 games.

What’s even better is that Poole did it efficiently, an issue that had plagued him all season. Starting 14 games and playing in over 50, Poole shot 33 percent from the field on the season yet hit 47 percent of his shots in those last 13 games.

Sure, one could say he just got hot, but if he did it once, Poole should be able to do it again. He’ll have experience on his side this time, and for a guard that hasn’t fully gotten used to the strength and speed in the league, having that knowledge and savvy will be huge.

Poole will likely be the second option behind Kelly Oubre Jr. at the two, and he may need to play some huge minutes if Covid strikes the team.
