Lakers offseason acquisitions

The Lakers acquired several players this off-season and a few that will surely help them come next season. They were able to fill a few voids on the roster but had to give up a few key pieces to get there.

Dennis Schroder was traded from the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for Danny Green and the 28th pick in this past draft, which was Jalen McDaniels.

Schroder will help the Lakers with their point guard problems after losing Rajon Rondo in free agency to the Hawks. He can also help add another playmaker on the floor for when LeBron James is resting.

Not to mention his improved shooting this past season, where he brought his three-point percentage up to 38 percent on five attempts a game. Dennis Schroeder can also be a pesky defender, and as James stated in a recent ‘UNINTERRUPTED’ video where he praised Schroder.

"”He is a flat out dog”"

The Lakers were also able to add a former Defensive Player of the Year winner in Marc Gasol, who will help them with their floor spacing.

Gasol is another big who can stretch the floor and is a tremendous passer. He also still shows flashes of being a good defender.

The big free-agent signing that the Lakers had caused a lot of frenzy around the league. The former Los Angles Clipper Montrez Harrell signed a two-year deal worth $19 million.

So the real question is, how do these moves from the Lakers affect the Warriors in the upcoming season?
