Wiggins to DC

Wizards receive: Andrew Wiggins, James Wiseman

Warriors receive: Bradley Beal

The Washington Wizards are going to soon find out that Russell Westbrook may not thrive with another superstar in the backcourt. While the Wizards may not find a trade partner for Westbrook after giving up a first-round pick and John Wall, they’ll be stuck.

However, while it’s not probable, Bradley Beal may find himself as the player wanting out, and if he is, the Warriors should jump right on that train. James Wiseman and Andrew Wiggins for a disgruntled star could be a nice return.

Wiseman would have to show some promise, as would Wiggins, before this deal is made. After all, Beal did average 30.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game last season. He just elevated his game to the next level and should be considered an all-out superstar.

A combination of Beal and Curry would be an absolutely lethal backcourt and should mesh well when Klay Thompson eventually returns. It’s a worthwhile addition for the Warriors if the price is right.

Verdict: Pursue
