Number One: Kyle Korver

One of the most unexpected things that occurred recently was Klay Thompson’s ruptured Achilles which he suffered while working out a couple of weeks ago. It has now left the Warriors in search of his replacement, or multiple replacements.

Kyle Korver could be a good candidate to be the guy that steps up to replace to star shooting guard.

Korver, even if signed, likely wouldn’t be the starting shooting guard, but adding one of the best three-point shooters in NBA history to go along with arguably the best three-point shooter in Steph Curry is certainly a solid consolation prize.

Korver seems like he is ring chasing to end his career, and while it’s unlikely he could get one this season, 2022 could seem like a reasonable opportunity. He played on the Bucks and didn’t find too much success there.

It would be nice to add Korver to an already solid Warriors lineup and having his three-point abilities would help dampen the hole left by Klay Thompson.
