Number Two: Courtney Lee

If the Golden State Warriors plan on making the playoffs in 2021, they will have to step up their defensive play.

Steve Kerr recently said to reporters that, if the team was going to be successful this season, they would need a top ten defense, which is something that is certainly attainable if they bring in a defensive guru like Courtney Lee.

Lee is a guy who would be a great defender to have come off the bench.

The starting five seems set already with Steph Curry and Andrew Wiggins at the two guard spots, Draymond Green and Kelly Oubre Jr. at the two forward spots, and rookie James Wiseman at the center position.

Despite not starting, Courtney Lee would be a tremendous role player off the bench who can play both guard and forward. He would be the second-string shooting guard and create a role that’s dependable, potentially unlike Jordan Poole or Damion Lee.

Lee has always been known as an above-average defensive player, and a team like Golden State could use his services off the bench.
