Unproven prospects like Andrew Wiggins and Eric Paschall might not interest the Houston Rockets. Instead, the Golden State Warriors could be forced to cough up a solidified star-like Draymond Green to make this deal work.

Of course, Green alone won’t be enough to convince the Rockets. This franchise will be looking to rebuild, therefore they will ask for more players like Kelly Oubre Jr. and Jordan Poole. Of course, there’s no reality in which Houston doesn’t push for draft picks as well.

While losing Green and Oubre for Harden would hurt the Warriors defensively, they would be gaining an offensive weapon to push them over the top. Furthermore, it should be noted that Harden has always been a reliable defender when he devotes energy to that end of the floor. Perhaps playing with multiple All-Stars will help him focus more on being a quality defender again.
