We wouldn’t be talking about trades if James Wiseman wasn’t going to be mentioned at some point. The Golden State Warriors haven’t even had the chance to watch the No. 2 pick play against NBA level competition yet. But, if there’s a possibility of trading for James Harden, they shouldn’t hesitate to include Wiseman.

It’s really as simple as this. Wiseman might never develop into a star – whereas Harden is already a top-five player. In a league that is moving away from traditional big men, why wouldn’t the Warriors jump at this opportunity?

As will be the case with all of these trades, a draft pick must be included. The value of the Warriors’ 2021 first round pick (acquired from Minnesota) will be enough to win over Houston if it’s combined with Wiseman and Wiggins.

This deal works out nicely for the Warriors as they manage to acquire Harden without giving up any of their three core players. Keep in mind, once Klay Thompson returns from injury, this team would be walking out four All-NBA level players each night. Hard to complain about that output.
