The championship window is closing for the Golden State Warriors. Here are five trades they can make to secure a title now.

Finally, the Golden State Warriors are back. Preseason begins today and a long road stands ahead of the Dubs. It’s going to take a herculean effort from Stephen Curry to carry this team to another championship in the wake of Klay Thompson’s injury – unless, the team makes a move to build a contender.

The front office has shown they are ready to do what it takes to win. They already dealt for Kelly Oubre Jr. earlier in the offseason and have signed quality role players like Kent Bazemore and Brad Wanamaker despite the hefty taxes they will have to pay as a consequence.

Furthermore, they have the assets to pull off a trade. Multiple first round picks, including the one they acquire from Minnesota, could prove to be valuable in trade negotiations. If the Warriors want to capitalize on their championship window, a deal must be done.

These types of trades are certainly risky. However, I’d gladly gamble on a championship season than sit tight and watch the dynasty fade away in Curry’s later years. It’s time to win, and these five trades can elevate the Dubs to championship status.
