The Golden State Warriors are aiming to be a playoff team this season, and they’ll have some players that must prove they belong in order to stick around.

After a mere 15 wins last season, the Golden State Warriors will be looking to drastically improve their record. Getting Stephen Curry, who played just five games a season ago, back will be a huge reason why they more than triple those numbers.

There are several other reasons why this team may thrive. The minutes last season that were given to Eric Paschall and Jordan Poole that aided their development could factor into if they can not get hit with the sophomore slump.

Then, there are offseason additions like Kelly Oubre Jr. and Kent Bazemore.

Let’s not forget No. 2 overall pick, center James Wiseman. Wiseman may not have an instant impact, but the 7-foot-1 center with a massive wingspan should be able to at least contribute defensively this season.

While those Warriors have their role on this team basically guaranteed, there are some that will be vying for both minutes and their spot on the roster in general. That said, let’s dive into four players that must prove they aren’t expendable this season.
