The Golden State Warriors can surprise everybody and be a title contender this season – but it all depends on these three x-factors.

Few are expecting the Golden State Warriors to be the dominant powerhouse they were in years prior. Still, the more optimistic analysts have acknowledged that this team has a fighter’s chance of stunning the league and rattling off another title run.

It’s as simple as having Stephen Curry on your team. After all, the two-time MVP has been doubted his whole life – and doesn’t plan on succumbing to his doubters now. Curry is ready to take on the challenge of playing a season without Klay Thompson, and the gunslinging 3-point shooter might just pull it off.

Regardless of how good Curry is this year, it’s going to take a team effort to overcome everything working against the Dubs. Health concerns and inexperience will be a factor all year long. Sadly, there isn’t much the team can do to avoid injury and COVID other than hope for the best and continue following CDC Guidelines.

Other than that, there are a few x-factors that are in the Warriors’ control. These keys will directly impact how successful the team is this season. Let’s break them down.
