The Golden State Warriors will be one of the most talked-about teams this coming season and with that will come some wild trade rumors.

It was an eventful offseason for the Golden State Warriors. The most notable impact on the team wasn’t even one that they could’ve predicted. After one season without Klay Thompson, the Warriors will be forced into yet another.

Thompson tore his Achilles training to come back after tearing his ACL in Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals. Thompson’s void will be obvious, but the team did the best they could to make sure it doesn’t cripple them.

The Warriors traded for Kelly Oubre Jr., costing them a significant amount in luxury tax penalties. Along with Oubre, the team added Brad Wanamaker to run backup point guard and Kent Bazemore to provide a veteran spark off the bench.

Those three will help guide the immediate future, and they drafted James Wiseman to be the long-term face of the franchise. At No. 2, the Dubs strengthen their frontcourt will adding arguably the draft’s best prospect.

That said, the Warriors are looking to contend, but anything can happen this season. Knowing that, let’s dive into five players that may be on the hot seat at some point this season, assuming the Warriors commit to either contending or relapsing before the deadline.
