Draymond Green

Another player that has perennially been on the hot seat is Draymond Green.

It seems doubtful that Green rumors will ever truly surface as the former second-round pick has drastically overperformed his once low expectations. However, Green’s numbers have been lower in the past few seasons.

Ever since Kevin Durant joined the team, Green’s impact hasn’t been the same. Add in the fact that he didn’t rebound when Durant left and both Curry and Thompson were out, and it may become clear that his impact may not be what it once was.

But, he is the Warriors leader.

He should be safe. Then again, Green did average just 8.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game last season. With a max-value contract to his name, the Warriors may have their option if he performs well, getting contenders to see his value.

Green would even only be thought of in a trade if the Warriors aren’t doing well and he’s having his best season in the last four years.
