Bazemore In The Warriors Pre-season Games So Far

The 6’4″ veteran has had a decent pre-season thus far. With three games under his belt, Bazemore has shown his ability to contribute to the second unit.

In their first game against the Denver Nuggets, Kent Bazemore played 18 minutes and had some excellent production to go along with his game. His 13 points led all scorers on the Warriors, as he went 4-6 from the field. Even at a smaller frame for a forward, Bazemore has a knack for grabbing rebounds. In this game, he showed that by pulling down five boards.

While he did have three fouls and three turnovers, it looked as if he was trying to create for others too much. However, Bazemore can be a player of that caliber off the bench. He does have good ball-handling and can run the floor effectively. Let’s not forget his ability to defend guards and wings with decent production.

It is safe to say that Bazemore will be on the bench unit, and rightfully so. When looking at the rest of the roster, he can bring several intangibles to the team and for other young players.
