Reggie Jackson

The Los Angeles Clippers were sadly able to re-sign Reggie Jackson. The veteran point guard was a tremendously underrated part of their team during the Clippers’ disappointing postseason run.

Kawhi’s Clippers lost in the second round to the Nuggets, a team that would go on to drop the Conference Finals series against the Lakers. That said, Jackson, who was a midseason addition, played valuable minutes for LA.

In his 17 regular-season games, Jackson averaged 9.5 points per game and shot over 41 percent from deep. That’s the type of efficiency the Warriors’ second unit would’ve craved.  Jackson didn’t have much postseason opportunity, playing 14.2 minutes per game.

While the opportunity wasn’t necessarily there, the Clippers clearly saw value in bringing him back. For under $3 million, Jackson’s shooting and both consistent and efficient scoring would’ve made for a terrific asset behind Curry.
