Will the Golden State Warriors beat oddsmakers predictions?

What does Vegas think the Golden State Warriors will be capable of?

As the start of the regular season is quickly approaching, most oddsmakers don’t have high expectations for the Warriors. Depending which you sportsbook you look at, their win total is projected to be between 36.5 – 39 win.

That is the equivalent of winning 42-45 games in a normal 82 game season. Golden State is projected to finish somewhere between 9th to 7th place in the West.

While that is a respectable accomplishment in the Western conference, especially this season, since it’s expected to be one of the most competitive in recent years. It’s not what Warrior fans have come to expect from the team.

However, if we know anything about the Warriors is that you should never underestimate them, especially when Steph and Draymond are healthy. Let’s examine how the Warriors can exceed the expert’s expectations for this season.
