Landry Shamet, G

The new Brooklyn Net has been a valuable piece on every team he has been on. During his time in Los Angeles, he was a knockdown shooter who also played a role in being a ball-handler off the bench.

Shamet is someone that a defender can not lose sight of. He is fantastic at running off of screens to create space, which helps his shooting ability. Because of his ability to run off screens, Stephen Curry would be an excellent matchup for him.

Curry also runs off of screens a lot, so one would think he would know how to guard it. At the same time, it may tire Curry out if Shamet gets big-time minutes.

Now with Brooklyn, Shamet’s role will be very similar.

He will be running off of screens to create movement and space for their superstars to work. Look for him to run a lot, and then start shooting when Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and the starters come off the floor.
