No. 1

Rockets receive: James Wiseman, Draymond Green, Eric Paschall, Jordan Poole, 2021 first-round pick (MIN), 2023 first-round pick

Warriors receive: James Harden

The last one is centered around the team’s often-injured other star.

Three-time All-Star Draymond Green will miss the Warriors’ first two games of the season. While he’s been the leader over the past half a decade, Green’s play has slumped in the last few years. His value likely has dwindled with his play.

In all actuality, Wiseman would still be the focal point. He played well in his debut, showing his useful size and toughness around the rim. Add in Wiseman and two top prospects along with two first-round picks and you have a deal that should push the needle.

It’d be tough to see this deal being rejected by Houston. For Golden State, it’s a different story. They would mortgage the future almost completely, but they would have a three-year shot at again being the best team in the NBA.
