3 takeaways from the Warriors loss to the Milwaukee Bucks

Andrew Wiggins and Kelly Oubre Have to Shoot Better
Klay Thompson’s importance and value are exposed now more than ever. We saw during this offseason, the Warriors did the best they could at replacing him for a season. While they did well with their move to get Kelly Oubre, it is not enough.
Andrew Wiggins and Kelly Oubre are supposed to provide support until Thompson can make his return, which is not what they are doing.

For Wiggins, his scoring was a big key for the Warriors going into this season. Kelly Oubre was supposed to make up for Klay’s absence on the defensive side of the ball and be a consistent shooter off the catch.
Instead, they are both shooting terribly.
While Oubre is playing good defense, his shooting is hurting this team. With a 16 percent field goal percentage from the floor in his two games, Oubre might be better off not shooting the ball at all. On 24 total attempts, Kelly Oubre has made four.
For Wiggins, his shooting and ability to finish at the rim have been bad as well.
Andrew Wiggins scored 12 points in the last game and 13 in the first game. His season averages are coming out at 29 percent from the floor and 20 percent from three. He will definitely need to step up his scoring ability to show he can be a second option on a good team.
