James Wiseman

In a mere three collegiate games, James Wiseman averaged 19.7 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 3.0 blocks per game. Standing 7-foot-1 with a massive wingspan, Wiseman slipped from being the consensus No. 1 overall pick.

Wiseman ended up with the Warriors at No. 2. With the Dubs needing size and depth in their frontcourt, it was a perfect fit. Let’s just say that, through the team’s first three games, he has not disappointed.

The rookie has averaged 14.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.7 threes, 1.0 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game. Those are impressive numbers for a player that is just six games removed from playing high school ball.

Currently seeing 24 minutes per game, Wiseman should be able to get more time as he continues to show his developing skillset. With comparisons to Chris Bosh, there’s a lot to like about his game, and his shooting has just been an added perk.

Wiseman is shooting an unsustainable 83.3 percent from deep. 5-for-6 from deep, having that in his arsenal will help create an even more dynamic Dubs offensive moving forward.
